The 2026 Newbridge Art Show will return October 16–18, once again celebrating creativity, community, and connection in the heart of the Blayney Shire. The Newbridge Art Show held annually in October in the historic village of Newbridge. It is a national art show which welcomes artists from across Australia to enter. Artists are invited to enter the competition by entering online via this website.

  • Entries online open July 1, 2026
  • Entries close on September 28, 2026
  • Delivery of work to the Brian Bennett Pavilion Newbridge Showground on Sunday October 11 between 10am and 4 pm
  • Exhibition open at 6.30pm on Friday October 16, 2026
  • Exhibition closes 3pm on Sunday October 18, 2026
  • Collection of work from 3-4:30 pm on Sunday 18th 2026

2026 WORKSHOP: Plein Air Painting with David Isbester

To coincide with the Art Show, two days of workshops will be held outdoors in Barry.

David Isbester is an Australian plein air painter whose bold, expressive oils capture the light, mood and quiet soul of rural and outback landscapes.
