ENTRY FEES
An entry fee of $20 per work is
payable for the first 3 exhibits with the 4th exhibit free.
All entry fees must be made before the closure of entries on 11th October 2024. Entry Fees are non-refundable.

GENERAL
All exhibits must be the original work of the exhibitor
A commission of 20% applies to all sales. Please ensure your pricing incorporates the commission and GST (if applicable).
A maximum of 4 works may be entered across all sections per artist.
Size: A maximum length on any given side of 85cm, including framing, applies to all sections for both art and photography except Section 4
(Painting - Minis) where the maximum size is 300 square centimetres for the
painting, not including framing. (for example 15cm x 20cm, 10cm x 30cm, 10cm x
20cm or 12cm x 20cm - any shape provided in does not exceed 300 square
centimetres)
Stretched canvas is acceptable
and need not be framed.
All work must be ready to hang
with suitable hanging cord and D Rings fitted.
Incorrectly sized exhibits and
exhibits without hanging cords will not be hung.
All work may be reproduced at the discretion of the committee for publicity purposes.
The decision of the Judge/s is final, and no correspondence/discussion will be entered into.
Insurance is the responsibility
of the exhibitor. The Newbridge Art Show will take all care but no responsibility
PHOTOGRAPHERS PLEASE NOTE: CLASSES 5 to 8

Photographs should accurately
reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been
digitally altered beyond standard optimization will be disqualified.
Allowable manipulations are:
- White balance, tone, lighting levels and curves, shadows and highlights, saturation, contrast, sharpness.
- Moderate dodging and burning; and
- Removal of dust spots and reduction of image noise.
- Images may be colour or monochrome.
- Images captured with multiple exposures (taken consecutively at the same time at the same location), for example, HDR, focus stacking or panoramas are acceptable provided the image accurately portrays the scene photographed.
- All entries must be taken safely and in a manner that complies with local laws and regulations
- You must have appropriate written permissions from landholders where images have been captured from private property or model release forms where images portray identifiable persons
- ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
This is a photography competition and, as such, any entered images must have been entirely captured with a camera (digital, film or phone camera) by the entrant. Images created by artificial intelligence using image-creation programs (for example, Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc) may not be entered. Images edited using Generative AI in programs such as Photoshop, Topaz Photo AI, etc, where pixels are added that did not exist in the original photo, may not be entered. - Class 6 Creative Photography Your Entry may feature manipulation, all entries must originally be from either an analogue or digital photographs captured by you which may have then been manipulated to produce a final creative image. All visual elements in the entry must have been photographed by you and must be 100% photographic in origin, including textures, backgrounds, skies, borders, etc. The use of stock images, stock video, or clip art is not allowed
THE ACQUISITIVE PRIZE
One acquisitive prize will be awarded to the value of $1,000, paid by the Blayney Shire Council.The Acquisitive Prize Winner is selected by the Adjudicators. The decisions of the Adjudicators shall be final, and no communication will be entered into regarding such decisions, inclusive of feedback.
