The Cowra And District Concert Band
The Cowra & District Concert Band is one of Australia’s longest-running community bands, proudly serving the Cowra region since 1886.
With a broad and lively repertoire, the band performs everything from popular and contemporary favourites, movie themes and nostalgic show tunes to jazz, swing and classic big band numbers. They are also an important part of local commemorations, performing traditional marches, hymns and ceremonial music at ANZAC Day services and other community events.
Whether creating the upbeat atmosphere of a cabaret, supporting a solemn occasion or leading a good old-fashioned community singalong, the Cowra & District Concert Band continues a proud tradition of bringing people together through music.
