In a response that both amazed and delighted organisers, places in the art workshops with Paul McCarthy FRAS sold out within just a few days.
These workshops are a brand-new addition to Spring into Art at Newbridge this year, and judging by the demand, they’re set to become a permanent fixture in the program.
Next Up: Gershwin & More – An Evening with Simon Tedeschi & George Washingmachine
Hot on the heels of the sold-out workshops comes another highlight: an intimate evening of music with Simon Tedeschi and George Washingmachine in the magnificent Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Newbridge.
Simon Tedeschi is one of Australia’s most celebrated classical pianists, performing works by Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, and Prokofiev for audiences across the globe — from the Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall, and now, the Newbridge Convent.
With a deep love of jazz and three acclaimed Gershwin albums to his name, Tedeschi joins forces with jazz vocalist and violinist George Washingmachine for a night of:
- Gershwin favourites
- Classic jazz standards by Cole Porter, Count Basie, Ray Noble, and more
