Components of Stagecraft & Jazz Intensive Workshop for Musicians 

Who: George Washingmachine – vocalist, violinist, and visual artist. He has been
involved in the entertainment industry since last century. He has worked in
television, theatre and film.
Clare O’Meara – a professional multi-instrumentalist from Sydney. With a career
spanning over three decades, her proficiency in piano, violin, accordion, guitar and voice has taken her on a vast myriad of musical experiences across Australia
and the world.

performance training at Newbridge Spring into Art, 2026.

Take your performance skills to the next level at the Components of Stagecraft and
Jazz Intensive Workshop for Musicians, a dynamic two-hour experience designed
for emerging and more experienced performers ready to grow their craft, build
confidence and perform on stage.

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, you'll train alongside like-minded artists at
Newbridge Spring into Art 2026, working with leading industry professionals in
music – focusing on jazz.

All performers and musicians are invited. Being a jazz artist is not compulsory!
Whether your goal is a career in music, an amateur enjoying music, or simply
becoming a more confident and versatile performer, this intensive will challenge,
inspire and elevate your skills.
During the program, you will:


♩ Rehearse and perform jazz standards including
♩ Autumn Leaves
♩ C Jam Blues
♩ All of Me
♩ Develop your singing and musical skills
♩ Receive coaching from leading industry professionals and experienced
performers
♩ Build confidence, stage presence and improvisation skills
♩ Being comfortable on stage
♩ Don't just play the music.
♩ Be Entertaining
♩ Bring your skills to the stage

♩ Develop Repertoire

♩ Your “instrument” - Musicians should bring their “instruments”, including vocals,
for the workshop.
